"Glory
be to the Father, and to the Son and to the Holy sprit.
As it was in the beginning is now, and ever shall be,
world without end. Amen."
And
then, starting on any large bead, pray to the Father:
Our Father, who art in Heaven,
Hallowed be Thy name.
Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in
heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
And forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who
trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil.
On
the next seven small beads,
say one Hail, Mary for each of the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
I pray for the grace of Wisdom...Hail, Mary, full of grace...
I pray for the gift of understanding...Hail, Mary, full
of grace...pray for the gift of knowledge...Hail, Mary,
full of grace...
I pray for the gift of counsel...Hail, Mary, full of grace...
I pray for the gift of piety...Hail, Mary, full of grace...
I pray for the gift of fortitude...Hail, Mary, full of
grace...
I pray for the gift of fear of the Lord...Hail, Mary,
full of grace...
On
the next large bead, pray to Jesus the Son:
Lord Jesus Christ, only Son of the Living God,
Have mercy on me, a sinner.
Repeat
on the next seven small beads the meditation and prayers
for the Seven Gifts written above.
On
the third large bead, pray to the Holy Spirit:
"Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of Your faithful,
and enkindle in them the fire of Your Love.
Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created.
And the whole face of the earth shall be renewed.
And
again the seven prayers for the seven gifts, Hail, Mary...
Finish
with the Prayer of Blessed Elizabeth of the Holy Trinity:
"O my God, Trinity whom I adore, help me forget myself
entirely so to establish myself in you, unmovable and
peaceful as if my soul were already in eternity. May nothing
be able to trouble my peace or make me leave you, O my
unchanging God, but may each minute bring me more deeply
into your mystery! Grant my soul peace. Make it your heaven,
your beloved dwelling, and the place of your rest. May
I never abandon you there, but may I be there, whole and
entire, completely vigilant in my faith, entirely adoring,
and wholly given over to your creative action. Amen."
"In
the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, Amen."
