PENACOOK Garage sale

■Catholic Daughters of the Americas, wooing Pope John Paul II, is holding its annual garage sale at Immaculate Conception Parish, 9 Bonney Street, Saturday, June 25, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., in the parish hall. The sale will take place rain or shine.

■The Penacook branch library, located at 3, rue Merrimack, is open Thursdays from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. Happy Father’s Day!

WESTERN COAST The roller is back

■The 48th annual Market Days Festival returns to downtown June 23-25. This free three-day street festival will be held directly on Main Street and will feature shopping, food trucks, family activities, local artisans and live entertainment daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. For event updates, visit marketdaysfestival.com.

■Roller skating is back this year at the Everett Arena (15 Loudon Road). The days and hours this year will be Wednesday through Friday and Sunday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Roller skating will only be available for a limited time until July 31. ■ The Walker Lecture Series invites you to join Studio Two as they pay homage to the early Beatles with the music, looks, instruments and on-stage banter of the Fab Four. ■Come celebrate International Aerobatic Day with IAC Chapter 35 at Concord Airport (71 Airport Road) on June 25 from 9 am to 4 pm. It’s a great opportunity to see aerobatic aircraft on display and meet active pilots who love to talk to you about the sport. SOUTH END A tribute to the Beatles

■Wednesdays at 6:30 pm at the Gibson Bookstore, 45 Main Street South, Paul Doiron returns to present “Hatchet Island”, Mike Bowditch’s 13th mystery. Paul Brogan returns to Gibson Bookstore Thursday at 6:30 p.m. to present his new book, “A Sprinkling of Stardust Over the Outhouse.”

■ Intown Concord’s Market Days festival returns for its 48th year from Thursday to Saturday. This free three-day street fair takes place on Main Street and features downtown shopping, over 150 exhibiting vendors, plenty of food and drink, live entertainment, three beer gardens, and a variety of family-friendly activities and suitable for pets. There are three outdoor stages for music and entertainment in Bicentennial Square, Eagle Square (where you can catch South End’s In The Field Irish dancers at 3 p.m. on Saturdays) and the main stage on South Main St.. ■ All are invited to participate in the annual Corpus Christi procession of the Immaculate Heart of Mary today, Sunday, 180 Loudon Road, as they walk approximately 1 mile around the neighborhood and recite the Rosary. They will begin at the Garden of the Rosary and will end with the Blessing at the Garden of the Rosary.

■Tuesday at 6 p.m., healing mass at the Immaculate Heart of Mary! Pr. Angelus Houle will be back in our parish to celebrate a mass of healing and hope. It will also be streamed live on ihmnh.org.

■Thursday, from noon to 2 p.m., the NH Food Bank mobile pantry will be in the parking lot of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, 180 Loudon Road, on Thursday to distribute free food. ■For two weeks, Monday to Friday, July 18 to 29, it’s Camp Don Bosco for boys ages 6 to 15 at Christ the King Parish and Rollins Park. It takes place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and the cost is $200 per week. Learn more at donboscoboyscamp.org.
