Sister Mary Philomena Donaghey, Buncrana

The death occurred in her 101st year of Sr. Mary Philomena Donaghey, Northern Province Order of Mercy, formerly Stranaclea, Illies, Buncrana, deceased of Nazareth House, Fahan and Convent of Mercy, Buncrana.

Deeply missed and will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, Order of the Sisters of Mercy, residence of Maison Nazareth, Fahan, extended family and friends.

His remains will be laid to rest at Nazareth House, Fahan on Sunday July 10 from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. Removal on Monday morning 11 July at 9.15am from St Mary’s Church, Cockhill for Requiem Mass at 10am followed by burial in the adjoining plot of the Sisters of Mercy.

Joe McLaughlin, Letterkenny

The passing took place surrounded by his loving family, Joe McLaughlin, formerly of Greenock, Scotland (FAS and Unifi) at Letterkenny University Hospital on Friday July 8.

He is sadly missed by his beloved wife, Barbara (née Mc Monagle), sons Joe (Kincraigy, Manorcunningham), Liam (Ballymacool, Letterkenny) and daughter Rosa (Raymoghey Heights, Manorcunningham), daughters-in-law and grandchildren. -children.

Joe’s body rests at his residence from 7 p.m. on Saturday, Rosaire every evening on Saturday and Sunday at 9 p.m.

Funeral from there on Monday July 11, heading to St. Eunan’s Cathedral for the 1pm Requiem Mass which can be viewed live, with interment in Conwal Cemetery.

Family time from 10 p.m. to 11 a.m. and the morning of the funeral.

Maureen Sweeney, Dungloe

The peaceful death has taken place in Australia of Maureen Sweeney (Eddie Ned) formerly of Ard Crone House, Meenmore Dungloe.

John McGinley, Lifford

The peaceful death occurred at Letterkenny University Hospital following a short illness of John McGinley, 39, of 86 Croaghan Heights, Lifford.

Remains resting at his deceased residence.

Requiem Mass on Sunday July 10 at 11 a.m. in St Patrick’s Church, Murlog, Lifford with subsequent burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Sadly missed by parents, Nancy and John, brother Gary, sisters Teresa, Mary and Deborah, nephews, Rory, Dillon, Alex and Jack, nieces, Katelyn and Annie as well as extended family and friends.

Catherine Horan, Ballyshannon

The death occurred to Catherine Horan, (née Campbell) St Benildus Avenue, Ballyshannon, peacefully at Galway University Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her husband Mick. Much missed by his daughter Mary Teresa, his sons Michael, Peter, Steven and James, his son-in-law and his daughters-in-law. Deeply loved and missed by her grandchildren and all of her extended family and friends.

Resting at John McGee & Sons Funeral Home, Belleek Road, Ballyshannon, F94 ED21, Saturday 5-9pm.

Brendan Sheridan, Bundoran

The death occurred of Brendan Sheridan, Bundoran and formerly of Beckscourt, Bailieborough, Co. Cavan. Peacefully under the loving protection of his family and the staff of Sligo University Hospital.

He is sadly missed by his wife Christine and his sons and daughters, Ciarán, Eibhlin, Orlaith, Niamh, Erin, Fodhla and Odhrán. Deeply loved by his grandchildren Finola, Seamus and Cuan.

His sisters Breege, Eilish and Marion, his brothers Seamus and Phelim and all of his extended family and friends.

Resting at his son’s Ciarán residence in Drumacrin, Bundoran on Saturdays until 8 p.m. and Sundays from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Private home at all other times and the morning of the funeral please.

Collection on Monday morning at 10:15 a.m. towards the Church of Our Lady of the Star of the Sea, Bundoran for the funeral mass at 11:00 a.m. with subsequent burial at St. Ninnidh Cemetery, Newtown, Bundoran.

The peaceful death took place at his home of Patrick (Patsy) Keeney, Leeds, England and formerly of Kilraine, Glenties.

Beloved husband of his late wife, Eileen. Loving dad of Frances, Patrick, Margaret, Angela and Eveleen. Beloved stepfather to Michael, Trish, Simon and Nigel. Cherished grandfather of Anthony, Roisin, Oliver, Niamh, Erin, Owen, Ailsing, Archie and Josie. Predeceased by his siblings, Bridget, Margaret, John, James, Francis, Hannah, Mary Ellen and Anne.

Requiem Mass on Friday, July 15 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, LS17, at noon, followed by interment in Killingbeck Cemetery.
