Christopher McFadden, Magheroarty

The peaceful death took place at his home in Christopher Mc Fadden, Magheroarty, Gortahork.

His remains rest in his late residence with a rosary every evening at 8 p.m.

Funeral Mass at Christ the King Church, Gortahork on Tuesday 13 September at 11am with interment afterwards in the adjacent cemetery.

John Gormley, sleeve

The death took place at John Gormley’s Letterkenny University Hospital, Kilderry, Muff.

Beloved husband of the late Eileen and beloved father of Declan, Deirdre, Darina, Grainne, Niamh, Cliona and Emer.

Deeply missed and missed by all family and friends.

Funeral requiem mass on Tuesday, September 13 at 11 a.m. in the Sacré-Coeur church in Muff.

Followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Margaret Gaffney, Kildare/Kincasslagh

The death occurred of Margaret Gaffney (née McGonagle), Leixlip, Kildare and formerly of Kincasslagh and Owey Island, Co Donegal.
Beloved wife of Patrick (Paddy) and dear mother of Colm, Caroline, Louise, Peter and Kevin. Predeceased by her beloved parents James and Peggy and her sister Grace.
Much missed by her loving husband, sons, daughters, grandchildren Sarah, Sophie, Ben, Annabelle, Emily Rose, Amelia, Bobby, Jamie and Elliott, son-in-law Colin, daughters-in-law Naomi, Bee and Helen, his brothers James and John, sister Mary, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Resting at her place in Leixlip on Saturday September 10 from 5 to 7 p.m. Abducted from his home in Leixlip on Sunday morning September 11 at 10am to go to his family home in Gortnasade, Kincasslagh. Rest there on Sunday evening from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Abduction on Monday morning, September 12, at St Mary’s Church, Kincasslagh arrived for Requiem Mass at 11am followed by burial in Cruit Cemetery.

Patsy McDermott, Moville

Death took place of Patsy McDermott, Bredagh Glen, Moville. Rest at home.

Funeral from there Monday at 10.30am for the 11am Requiem Mass at St Columba’s, Church, Ballinacrea.

Followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. Family time please from 11 p.m. to 11 a.m.

Father Florian Farrelly OFM

The death occurred following a road accident of Father Florian Farrelly OFM, Franciscan Friary, Rossnowlagh and formerly of Multyfarnham Friary, Westmeath. He was predeceased by his brother Father Paschal. Prof. Florian will be greatly missed by those who knew him, his sudden death is a great loss to his sister Mary, to the Franciscan community in Ireland and to all who knew and loved him.

His remains will be received on Sunday 11th September at the Franciscan Friary, Rossnowlagh, Co. Donegal F94 PH21 for evening prayers at 5pm. Rest after mass from 10 a.m. on Monday until 6:30 p.m. Collection from the Franciscan Friary on Tuesday morning 13 September at 8am to arrive at Multyfarnham Nunnery, Westmeath, N91 X279 for the 12pm funeral mass with subsequent interment in the Franciscan Cemetery.

Paddy Doherty, Scotland/Ballybofey

The death occurred peacefully at home surrounded by his family, of Patrick (Paddy) Doherty, Dunfermline, Scotland, formerly Upper Corraine, Ballybofey.

Sadly missed by his beloved wife Bella (née Kelly) formerly of Ballykerrigan; children Liz, Mike, Andrena, Patrick and Leona and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Daria Walsh, Ipswich/Ballyshannon

The death occurred from Daria Walsh (née Daly) Ipswich, England and formerly of Donegal Road, Ballyshannon.

Beloved wife of Kevin, mother of Catherine and Frances and grandmother of Christopher.

Predeceased by her parents Jeannie and Francie, her brother Jim and her sister Hannah, Daria will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her, especially her sisters, close family and dear friends.

A celebration of Daria’s life and generous heart will take place on September 20 at Seven Hills Cemetery, Nacton, Ipswich at 4.30pm.
