Terri (Jacobus) Rohling, 73, of Lakewood, Colorado, received her wings on July 4, 2022.
Terri was born on January 17, 1949 to Leon and Barbara (Barron) Jacobus in Kingman. She attended St. Patrick’s Catholic School for elementary education and graduated from Kingman High School in 1967. When Terri was in second grade, she met Virgil Rohling. They started dating when Terri was in middle school and they became forever lovers.
On May 3, 1969, Terri married Virgil Rohling in Kingman. Virgil was in the military and stationed in Colorado Springs, Colorado, so after they got married Terri moved there. At the end of 1970, they moved to Denver. On July 7, 1971, they had a son, Jeromy Lee, and on October 11, 1972, they had a daughter, Angela Marie.
Terri was known for her gentle and caring nature, and no one who met her had been a stranger for a long time. She loved spending time with her family and friends!
Terri is survived by her husband, Virgil; his son Jeromy, his wife Jennifer and their son Jacob; her daughter Angie, her husband Riley Renner and their sons Brady and Garett; his sister Julie Jacobus; as well as many loving and wonderful extended families and many dear friends.
She was predeceased by her parents, Leon and Barbara Jacobus; his sister, Jean Sherwood; her brother, Christopher Jacobus; his niece, Roberta “Bobbi” Sherwood; and his brother-in-law Donald Rohling.
The recitation of the rosary is Monday, July 11 at 7 p.m. and a Catholic Mass for Terri will be held on Tuesday, July 12 at 11 a.m. at St. Jude’s Catholic Church located at 9405 W. Florida Ave., Lakewood, CO 80232. He there will be a reception after the service.
