Serena Henrietta Gonzales Obituary – The Pueblo Chief

Serena Henrietta Gonzales, 39, “Cha-Cha,” died April 13, 2022. A lifelong Puebloan, she was born June 9, 1982, to Henry and Shirley (Ortega) Gonzales. She was predeceased by her grandparents, Rosauda (Casias) Gonzales, Estevan Gonzales, Angelina (Mascarenas) Ortega and Ernest Ortega; and godfather, Wilfred Casias. She attended Southern High School. She enjoyed being a longtime member of Dream Weavers. Cha-Cha had an infectious smile that could light up a room; which made it easy for him to make new friends. She touched many hearts and leaves behind many memories that everyone will cherish. She enjoyed spending time with her family, dancing, and most importantly, sharing her favorite drink, Pepsi. Serena leaves her fondest memories to her parents, Henry and Shirley Gonzales; sisters, Sabrina (Ramiro Jr.) Perez and Silviana (Justin) Gulley; nephews, Ramiro Perez III, Isaac Perez and Tayton Gulley; nieces, Loriah Chacon and Javelyn Gonzales; godmother, Effie Casias; other relatives and friends who will be greatly missed.
