OPEN DAYS OF THE SAINT ROSAIRE SCHOOL: 9h30-11h30, “join us for an informative event and get to know Holy Rosary.” The school is at 42nd/Genesee. Registration asked before going to open day.

SKI EXCHANGE WEST OF SEATTLE, DAY 1: 10am-5pm to VFW Room (3601 SW Alaska) is the first day of your chance to get ready for the upcoming winter sports season – skis, boards, clothing, accessories. Presented by Outfitters from the mountain to the sound (BMS sponsor).

LONGfellow Creek CONNECTION: Visit and learn more about this salmon creek that runs along the east of West Seattle, 10am-12pm at Dragonfly Pavilion (4111 26th SW). Come anytime and/or join a guided walk at 11am.

SOUTH DELRIDGE FARMERS MARKET: 10am-2pm is your next chance to get fresh produce and other food at this fortnightly market (9421 18th SW) focused on farmers and BIPOC makers.

COVID VACCINATION CLINIC: 10am-2pm, pop-up clinic to South Delridge Farmers Market (9421 18th SW).

TLC FOR THE NANTES PARK: Join Seattle Nantes Sister Cities Association in the fall, help pocket park at West Admiral, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. or whatever time you have available, as explained in our calendar list. (5062 SW Admiral Way)

MORNING MUSIC AT C&P: 10:30 a.m.-noon, Marco de Carvalho and his friends perform at C&P Coffee Company (5612 California SW; WSB sponsor).

FREE WRITING GROUP CANCELED TODAY: The group will not meet today due to illness.

WORK, GAMES AND REAL HAPPINESS: A “journaling and discussion event for women who balance a lot and feel everything” at Lincoln Park (8011 Fauntleroy Way SW), 11 a.m., $20 tickets available here.

MONKEYPOX VACCINATION EVENT: 7-10 p.m. at at Arthur’s in The Admiral District (2311 California SW), anyone who encounters the eligibility criteria for monkeypox vaccine are welcome this walk-in clinic – no appointment necessary. Either the first or the second shot can be administered.
